The "Zikkurat" culture and leisure factory is a multifunctional centre for entertainment, culture and hospitality in Mechernich-Firmenich. The unique ambience of the original stoneware factory from 1882 houses Big Bowl, the region's newest bowling and entertainment centre, the Eifel-Therme-Zikkurat with a large Scandinavian sauna landscape, the TON-Fabrik dance and event hall, as well as the Schäfer Sports World for fitness and wellness, the La Fornace restaurant, various businesses, a beer garden and studios for arts and crafts.
