Zievel Castle - one of the most beautiful castles in the town of Mechernich, which is rich in castles and fortresses - forms the picturesque backdrop for the golf course near Mechernich-Lessenich. Embedded in wooded heights and gentle valleys, 18 holes with an international par 72 standard have been created. Old trees and small streams frame and run through the fairways and greens. The golf course and nature have been brought into harmony with gentle terrain modulations. Each hole has its own distinctive character and is interesting for beginners as well as for sports golfers. Around Zievel Castle, the 5944-metre course is played without much effort. The crowning glory of the course are the holes to the 9th and 18th green, which offer a magnificent view over Zievel Castle and the surrounding landscape.

The Kyll - a true paradise for fly fishing!The Kyll arises from the confluence of several source streams near the Belgian border. It is dammed to the Kronenburger See, continues to flow to Gerolstein and then swings south to the Moselle. Our fishing area is multifaceted and has several levels of difficulty, from a pure meadow stream to a densely overgrown river. Fish species: grayling, brown trout, chub, pike, white fish Guest angler season: March 16th to October 14thRoute: The fishing area covers a river length of 15 km between Kronenburg, Stadtkyll and Jünkerath, divided into two lots marked with signs.
