The Hetzingen campsite is in a wonderful location in the Eifel National Park, directly on the Rur, which is famous for its clear water. The romantic Nideggen Castle rises on a steep hillside opposite (325m above sea level). Lake Rursee is only a few kilometers away.
The countless excursion possibilities in the surrounding area offer variety during your vacation. The campsite is an ideal starting point for sightseeing (Cologne / Aachen / Monschau ...), culture lovers, climbing enthusiasts, cyclists, kayakers and hikers. A total of over 300 km of beautiful hiking trails and cycle routes await you.
In the middle of an almost untouched natural landscape, you have the opportunity to enjoy the clear air and especially the prevailing peace and quiet and to relax completely. The entrance to the new Eifel National Park is just behind the campsite, a 5-minute walk away. Experience pure nature!
