Nideggen Castle looks back on an eventful history and is a unique cultural monument to the history of the Middle Ages in the Rhineland and the Eifel region. From the 12th century, the castle was the residence of the Counts of Jülich.
The castle museum has been housed in the keep since 1979. Opposite, the castle restaurant offers cozy hospitality with an impressive view of the Rureifel.
