Simmerath-Woffelsbach

The tour explores the variety of landscapes between Woffelsbach and Rurberg. You reach Woffelsbach via Weidenhövel along the lakeshore. The Wolfsbach accompanies the hiking trail for a while through the forest to the highest point of the tour. The trail leads back to Rurberg through the Weidenbach valley.

11 - Tiefenbachtal

The hike leads from Simmerath into the picturesque Tiefenbachtal valley. Passing the very first commercial enterprise in Simmerath, the path meanders through the beautiful valley where the former oil mill is located. The path then leads uphill along the Brombach stream via Huppenbroich back to Simmerath

EifelSchleife Adlerblick

The short hike leads to the Oleftalsperre dam and the Hellenthal bird of prey station - including views of the eagles in the air. The hiking tour is ideal for families with children.
