From the Rothe Kreuz parking lot, this 5.9 km circular trail leads you through the Plüngelbach valley - into the Eifel National Park, where nature is slowly reclaiming itself. Here, forests are allowed to grow, streams find their course and old traces fade away. Next to the Monschau-Höfen wind farm, you can see what the motto of the national park means: "Let nature be nature."
